On November 23 an online scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies. At the seminar researcher of the laboratory of Cell membrane systems, Nahida Aliyeva made a speech on “New membrane proteins that play a role in the metabolism and development of C4 plants”. N. Aliyeva informed about 37 new membrane proteins found in C4 plants(NADF-ME, NAD-ME və FEP-KK subtypes)  by high-resolution 2-dimensional gel electrophoresis method. At the same time, she presented the latest scientific data, characterizing the predictions of bioinformatics to make protein lists more important. In the end, the speaker answered numerous questions about the seminar participants.
