Head of the laboratory of “Photochemistry of Chloroplasts" of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies, correspondent member of ANAS, professor Ibrahim Vahab Azizov participated in the 13th international conference on “Factors of the experimental evolution of organisms” held in Yaremche city of Ukraine. It should be noted that Ibrahim Azizov is a member of the Ukrainian Society of Geneticists and Breeders, the organizing committee of the conferences of the same society, and the member of the editorial boards of the "Factors of experimental evolution of organisms" and "Vestnik" journals. I. Azizov is also a member of the Ukrainian "Radiobiology" Society and the organizing committee of the conferences of the same society.

 Conference jointly organized by the Vavilov Society of Geneticists and Breeders of Ukraine, the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Department of Medical Biology and Medical Genetics of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, was devoted to the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Reports of well-known scientists working in the field of genetics and breeding were listened at the conference. Ibrahim Azizov’s report on “Effect of sodium chloride on morphological properties of bread wheat genotypes” was evaluated as the best report and he was awarded the diploma.
