Director of Emerson Center for Scientific Computation of Emory University, prof. Jamaladdin Musayev was a guest at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies on 29 October, 2018.  Director of the institute, academic Irada Huseynova presented the guest to the staff and noted that he is one of the influential scientists living abroad, who devoted his life to science. After visiting the laboratories and got acquainted with conducted scientific researches, J. Musayev made a speech on "Multi-Disciplinary Research Efforts”. He gave information about directions of scientific researches carried out at Emerson Center for Scientific Computation. He noted that one of the main goals of his arrival was to evaluate the possibilities of collaboration with ANAS and IMBB. Theoretical scientist J.Musayev noted that the theoretical work carried out by the group led by him was also confirmed by experiments. Although Musayev has lived abroad for many years, he has not lost his relations with Azerbaijan and does his best for the development of the Azerbaijani science. So he has represented our country with 337 lectures in 21 countries. As a result of his efforts, students of Khazar University have been awarded numerous scholarships. Moreover, Musayev implemented student exchange programs between Japan Society for the  Promotion of Science and scientific research institutes of Azerbaijan. In the end, J.Musayev emphasized that curiosity, creativity and hard work are the main aspects for succeeding in science.
