On 7 December the meeting of Scientific Council on Biological Problems was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies.
Director of the institute academic Irada Huseynova welcomed the members of the council and emphasized that this meeting was one of the last meetings of 2018. I. Huseynova spoke about the conference dedicated to the 90^th anniversary of Jalal Aliyev to be held on 17-18 December and participation of guests from foreign countries, including Japanese scientist Sheen. I. Huseynova also informed the council members that the award named after Jalal Aliyev will be established.

Then the names of the work to be done for the title of Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Science in Biology, covering the sciences of Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Physiology, Physical Chemistry were discussed at the meeting.
