Next meeting of ANAS Presidium held on March 6.

At the meeting, President Ilham Aliyev issued a decree on the approval of strategic roadmaps for the national economy and main sectors of the economy dated December 6, 2016.

The decree of AR President Ilham Aliyev on “Strategic roadmap for the national economy and the main sectors of the economy” dated December 6, 2016, was mentioned at the meeting.

It was noted that, state bodies, economic structures, institutions of science and education, including the ANAS were assigned a number of important tasks on the formation of a qualitatively new model of economic development of the country. In order to ensure the fulfillment of these tasks “Strategic roadmap for the national economy and the main sectors of the economy” was approved, as well as the implementation of measures envisaged by this plan for 2017-2018.

Today the assessment of the performance of tasks for 2018 is carried out, a number of additions and corrections were made to the action plans, as well as changes were made directly to ANAS.

At the meeting, ANAS Presidium approved the “Strategic roadmap for the national economy and the main sectors of the economy for 2019-2020”, aimed at further increasing the participation of ANAS in the continued development of the national economy and human capital and ensuring compliance instructions given in the Strategic Road Maps, in full.
