Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia; Professor at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University), Department of Molecular and Cell Biology, Dolgoprudny, Moscow Region, Russia; Head of Bionanotechnology Laboratory at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Baku, Azerbaijan, and Invited-Adjunct Professor at the Department of New Biology, Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science &Technology (DGIST), Daegu, Republic of Korea, professor Suleyman Allakhverdiyev’s seminar on “Alternative energy based on photosynthesis process” was held at ADA University.

Opening the seminar, academician Roald Sagdayev informed about the actuality of the topic.

The reporter spoke about alternative energy sources, research on the creation of biomimetic models based on natural photosynthesis process, and their future perspectives. As well, he gave information about the work done in this direction and staff training in Azerbaijan. Wide discussions were held on the topic.

At the end of the event, rector of  ADA University, professor Hafiz Pashayev spoke about the importance of the report, and he noted the necessity of such seminars for the development of science.
