On May 22, 2019, an event titled "Organization of management of civil defense authority and forces in the elimination of consequences of emergencies" was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of ANAS. The event was attended by Chief of the Department of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense of the Sabail District Lieutenant-Colonel Nazir Akberov, his deputy Lieutenant Tarlan Bayramov and the staff of the institute. Nazir Akbarov spoke about natural and technical disasters in recent years and the loss of human life in these events and he reminded the words of the national leader "It is easier to prevent an incident than to eliminate its consequences after this incident." He noted that every citizen should be ready for emergencies, and should be familiar with the rules of behavior necessary to protect his or her own life if such events occur. Indifference to safety rules is a threat to our lives.

Director of the Institute, Vice-President of the Academy Irada Huseynova spoke about the work done in this direction and spoke about future events. N. Akbarov answered the questions of the employees, listened to their suggestions and expressed satisfaction with the meeting. In the end, video clips containing safety regulations that were followed during an earthquake, fire, landslide, carbon monoxide poisoning and other emergencies were demonstrated.
