32nd assembly of International Association of Academies of Sciences (IAAS) was held in Dushenbe city, the capital of Tajikistan.

The meeting was opened by the head of IAAS, academician Vladimir Gusakov, who informed about the activity of the organization.

Then, it was discussed the work plan for 2019-2021 and the development declaration until 2030. In addition, a number of important issues were considered such as full-fledged joining the Mongolian Academy of Sciences to the IAAS, Heilongjiang and Shandong provinces as a limited member.

Ruslan Gasimov, PhD in Political Sciences, head department of Office of International Relations with CIS countries of the Presidium of ANAS, attended the meeting of the members of the organizational and technical council, discussed perspectives of cooperation with the research institutions of the IAAS member countries.

Young scientist of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Aytan Agayeva provide detailed information about the scientific activity and achievements of ANAS and Council of Young Scientists and Specialists at the conference “The role of young scientists in the development of science, innovation and technology”, which held during the event.
