Tarlan Mammadov, Professor of the Akdeniz University of Turkey, corresponding member of ANAS, conducts studies on coronovirus in Turkey. As a result of the studies, the scientist identified target proteins against coronovirus. It is expected to transfer that proteins to plant cells. According to him, these cells have a high probability of producing the vaccine.

Tarlan Mammadov has also developed a vaccine against malaria, the most common human disease and death in the world, using the technology of enzymatic degradation inside the cell. The scientist states that the vaccine will save millions of lives: "The use of this vaccine in clinical trials is already supported by the Turkish government."

In addition, the Azerbaijani scientist will deliver a lecture on malaria vaccine at the International Biotechnology Congress, which will be held on March 5-7, 2020, in Istanbul, Turkey.
