On February 24 the regular scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies. Senior researcher of the laboratory of Genome structure and expression, Ph.D. Ulkar Ibrahimova gave a report on “Monitoring of the reactions of plant response to environmental factors through chlorophyll fluorescence”. She was on a scientific trip at the Departments of Plant Physiology and Genetics of the Slovak University of Agriculture, located in Nitra on 03.08.2019-01.10.2019. U. Ibrahimova informed participants of the seminar on the results of experiments on the determination of drought and salinity of genotypes of Triricum aestivum L. In addition, the speaker informed that the fluorescence analysis of Chlorophyll a is a unique model to assess the effects of stress factors on photosynthetic apparatus.
