On April 18, a regular meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies. A number of organizational issues were discussed at the meeting. The members of the Scientific Council discussed the selection of candidates for the competition of young scientists announced by the Presidium of ANAS and the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan and selection of candidates for postdoctoral research in European scientific centers.

At the end of the meeting, on behalf of members of the Scientific Council, a letter of congratulation was addressed to Ilham Aliyev on his re-election as President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
