As you know, distance education, begun on March 29, continues successfully in all scientific institutions of ANAS, including the master studies of institutes involved in ANAS Division of Biological and Medical Sciences.

The graduates receive electronic versions of lectures and presentations by e-mail or directly during distance learning. At the same time, they are connected to distance learning together with the leaders of scientific and pedagogical practice. The supervisors of second-year graduates give them scientific and methodological recommendations for completing dissertations online.

15 graduates at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, including 3 first-year graduates majoring in “Molecular Biology”, 2 graduates majoring in “Biochemistry”, 3 graduates majoring in “Biotechnology”, a graduate majoring in “Nanobiotechnology”, in the second year 3 graduates in the specialty “Molecular Biology” are studying in the Azerbaijani sector, and one graduate in the Russian sector, as well as 2 graduates in the specialty “Biochemistry”. Lectures and seminars on the subject specialties "Modern Problems of Biology", "Molecular Mechanisms of Transport of Biological Macromolecules", "Proteomics", "Bioenergy", "Biochemistry of Photosynthesis", "Biochemistry of Metabolites", "Enzymology", "Medical Biotechnology", "Industrial Biotechnology” and “Nano Pharmacology” are carried out using Skype, Zoom and Microsift Team.

At the Institute of Botany, in the specialties of Botany, Plant Physiology, Mycology and Environmental Protection and Biological Monitoring, 9 master graduates are studying, including 6 out of them are first-year students and 3 are second-year students.
