Today the employees of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies visited the grave of the outstanding ophthalmologist, academic Zarifa Aliyeva in the Alley of Honor and honored her memory with prayers. Then they participated in the event dedicated to the 95^th anniversary of the academic in the Central Scientific Library of ANAS. President of the National Academy of Sciences, academic Akif Alizadeh emphasized irreplaceable contributions of Zarifa Aliyeva to ophthalmology and spoke about her scientific and pedagogical activity and the role in the training of young cadres. Academic-Secretary of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences of ANAS, academic Ahliman Amiraslanov spoke about the rich life of Zarifa Aliyeva and her achievements in the Azerbaijani medicine. The master student of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies Gulnar Abdullayeva also spoke about Zarifa Aliyeva's rich scientific heritage and high human qualities.
