On 10 May 2018 an event dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies. Opening an event director of the institute academic Irada Huseynova said that Azerbaijani people was blessed with such a wise leader as Heydar Aliyev. The current development and great progress of Azerbaijan are associated with his name. On July 14, 1969, Heydar Aliyev came to power for the first time in Azerbaijan, and the real development of our state began since that day. The civil war, the crisis were prevented, political stability was ensured as a result of the farsightedness, wisdom, and intelligence of Heydar Aliyev, who carried out such a tough task during difficult times for our country. I. Huseynova spoke about the meeting of the great leader with scientists when he returned from Nakhchivan to Baku and noted that he always had great concern about science and education. Correspondent member of ANAS Ilham Shahmuradov, who spoke at the event, mentioned Heydar Aliyev's courageous speeches from world tribunes and noted his unique personality. Professor Saftar Suleymanov talked about the unprecedented merit of Heydar Aliyev in the creation of the National Army. At the end of the event, I.Huseynova noted that modern Azerbaijan is the product of Heydar Aliyev - the genius leader who dedicated his whole life to his people and laid the foundation of the national statehood. Then a documentary film about the life and activity of the national leader was demonstrated.
