Released a new issue of "Elm" newspaper

The 14th issue of "Elm" newspaper, a weekly press organ of the Presidium of ANAS, has been released for this year.
The front page of the newspaper features the speech of the President of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement Ilham Aliyev at the High-Level Meeting dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the UN.
On the next pages of the press body, acquaintance with the restoration - reconstruction work carried out at ANAS, visit of ANAS President, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev to the Republican Seismological Survey Center, online presentation of the National Transliteration System and "Transliteration" web portal, the meetings of the Academic Councils of Division of Humanities and Social Sciences, as well as Division of Biological and Medical Sciences and the visit of Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Erkan Ozoral to the Academy's High Technologies Park.
The newspaper also provides information on research conducted at the Institute of Biophysics, real facts about the toponym Arsak, discussion of the project on forest protection, the reasons for the drying of coniferous trees in Baku and new publications.
The 12-page newspaper also contains interesting articles in Russian.
Note that the editor-in-chief of "Elm" newspaper, which has been published since 1984, is the head of the Press and Information Department, Ph.D. in Philology Aghahuseyn Shukurov.
