Academic Council of the Division of Biological and Medical Sciences of ANAS (DBMS) has held an online meeting.

Opening the event, organized in accordance with the quarantine rules, vice-president of ANAS, chairwoman of the Academic Council academician Irada Huseynova acquainted the participants with the issues on the agenda.

Azerbaijani state and our holy people have risen to the long-awaited war for the triumph of truth. Under the leadership of Mr. President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the glorious Azerbaijani army is writing history, liberating our native Karabakh from enemy occupation. The scientist noted the importance of identifying the priorities of interdisciplinary research carried out by ANAS scientists, including MBP in the liberated territories, and expressed confidence that the study of flora and fauna, land and water resources of the region will begin in the near future. That the day is not far off when large-scale research work will be carried out at the Karabakh research base of the Institute of Genetic Resources of ANAS in Aghdara region, stated acad. Irada Huseynova and stressed the importance of organizing actions to support the institutions of our warring army, and talked about the work done in this direction.

Then the issue of creating a commission to prepare proposals on the status and future activities of the Regional Experimental Resource Center of Ecologically Clean Agriculture of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of ANAS was considered and a corresponding decision was made.
