Leading researcher of the Bioadaptation laboratory Samira Rustamova, scientific researchers Turana Isgandarova and Lala Aydinli, leading researcher of the Laboratory of Cell Membrane Systems Durna Aliyeva were on a scientific trip in Gobustan Regional Experimental Station (RES) of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The main purpose of the trip was to control the cost of autumn sowing and to obtain wheat seeds for scientific research in the laboratory. During the trip, monitoring was carried out in various control nursery-gardens in the experimental grain fields, the level of the yield of wheat seedlings was checked. The seeds were selected and brought to the institute for planting in an artificial climate chamber in the laboratory. The seeds are planned to be analyzed comparatively by sowing them in stress and control variants.  Bioadaptation laboratory will first study the amount of antioxidant defense system components that play a key role in stress resistance, the activity of antioxidant enzymes, and the isoenzyme content.
