A report meeting dedicated to the results of scientific and scientific-organizational activities of the Central Botanical Garden of the Academy for 2020 was held with the participation of the leadership of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences  of ANAS.

Vice-president of ANAS, chairman of the Scientific Council of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences, academician Irada Huseynova, academicians - Garib Mammadov, Valida Alizade, corresponding members of ANAS - Novruz Guliyev, Panah Muradov, professor Ulduz Hashimova, agrarian sciences took part in the online meeting. Doctor of Philosophy Aladdin Eyvazov and members of the Scientific Council of the Central Botanical Garden.

Opening the event, academician Irada Huseynova said the report on the scientific and scientific-organizational activities of the Central Botanical Garden in 2020 will be heard at the meeting.

Then the director of the Central Botanical Garden, doctor of biological sciences Vahid Farzaliyev made an extensive presentation.

V.Farzaliyev noted that the staff of the garden participated in 4 projects, 2 international trainings, established cooperation with the International Organization for the Protection of Botanical Gardens, "REC Caucasus", the Union of Climate Change of Botanical Gardens, Kew Royal Botanic Gardens of Great Britain and other organizations.

Then the report was widely discussed and questions were answered. Academicians - Garib Mammadov, Valida Alizade, corresponding members of ANAS - Novruz Guliyev, Magsud Gurbanov, doctors of biological sciences - Ulduz Hashimova and Shakir Gasimov positively assessed the report.
