On February 9, online meeting of the Scientific Council was held. The chairman, academician Irada Huseynova opened the meeting and acquainted the participants with the issues on the agenda. She congratulated on behalf of the staff senior researcher of the Laboratory of Enzymology of Photosynthetic Carbon Assimilation, doctor of biological sciences, associate professor Hasan Babayev on his 60^th anniversary and researcher of the Bioadaptation laboratory, PhD Samra Mirzayeva on being awarded Presidential Prize for Youth. The meeting discussed the appointment of Nurmammad Mustafayev, Doctor of Philosophy in Biology, Associate Professor, to the post of Head of the Population Genomics Laboratory at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, the issue of organizing the attestation of employees of the institute were discussed. Then other issues on the agenda were discussed and relevant decisions were made.
