As in most countries of the world, 8 March-International Women’s Day is celebrated in Azerbaijan every year. Azerbaijani women have already become a leading force in society. Thanks to the wisdom of our mothers, our national moral value, custom and traditions, purity of our language have been able to withstand the test of difficult and complicated times. Azerbaijani women had the right to elect and be elected before the women in other countries and their achievements in science, culture and other fields show the cultural and intellectual potential of Azerbaijani women.

The majority of the staff of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology are women. Our women scientists have achieved great success in the field of modern biology with their scientific activities and research, actively participate in various events, international scientific conferences, and seminars in Azerbaijan and abroad, and introduce Azerbaijani science to the world.
