On June 17, 2021, the defense of the theses of the 2nd year masters of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies, who successfully completed scientific-research and scientific-pedagogical programs in the 2020-2021 academic year, was held. Three students majored in "Molecular Biology", three in "Biotechnology", two in "Biochemistry" and one in "Nanobiotechnology" presented the main points of their theses. The Chairman of the Specialized Scientific Council for the Defense of Master's Theses, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Saftar Suleymanov noted that the masters have fully completed the theoretical and practical training provided for in the curriculum and have successfully completed research work. Acting Head of the Education Department of the Presidium of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy in Physics Gafil Damirov and an employee of the Master's Sector Sabina Shikhgayibova, also took part in the defense. The work of each master was discussed and evaluated in detail. The director of the institute, academician Irada Huseynova, wished success to the masters and called on them to work harder in their future scientific activities.
