On March 8, 2022, a webinar dedicated to International Women's Day was organized by the International Science Program and supported by the BAN: 04 Research Group of the Department of Chemistry, University of Dhaka. The topic of the online webinar was "Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow." The event was attended by well-known scientists from Azerbaijan, Sweden, Bangladesh and other countries, as well as young researchers. Speaking at the webinar, Turana Isgandarov, a researcher at the Bioadaptation Laboratory of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies, noted that women have been free-thinking and optimistic in all periods of history and have made significant contributions to the development of society. Women who rose to the top of science with their hard work and innate talent have a special place in the history of science. T. Isgandarov expressed confidence that female scientists will tirelessly use all their knowledge and skills for the development of science, and that our young girls and women will take an active part in the development of science and education.
