A leading researcher of the Bioadaptation Laboratory of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of ANAS, PhD Samira Rustamova, researchers Turana Isgandarova and Saida Zulfugarova, leading researcher of the Laboratory of Enzymology of Photosynthetic Carbon Assimilation, PhD Ulduza Gurbanova visited the Gobustan Regional Experimental Station (RES) of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry of the Ministry of Agriculture. The main purpose of the trip was to conduct preliminary phenological observations on wheat genotypes planted for research. Unstable weather conditions in March and strong winds in recent days had a stress effect on wheat in the tillering phase. It should be noted that a total of 67 local, 41 Russian, 9 Turkish, 18 European genotypes, and 65 varieties of seeds obtained from the Genbank of the Institute of Genetic Resources of ANAS were planted.
