On June 24, 2022, the head of the Laboratory of Photochemistry of Chloroplasts of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Ibrahim Azizov, senior researcher, PhD in biology Mayakhanim Khanishova, and researcher Konul Taghiyeva, were on a scientific mission at the Tarter - Shikharkh Experimental Base of the Institute of Genetic Resources. During the visit, the productivity of wheat varieties and hybrids planted at the Shikharkh Experimental Base was evaluated, and samples were taken from both parent and F4 generation hybrid forms to analyze the structural elements of the spike. Spikes of wheat varieties and hybrids planted on saline soils at the Kurdamir experimental field of the Institute of Botany were also collected for analysis.
