On June 29, the discussion of the dissertation presented for the degree of doctor of philosophy on the theme “Biochemical and ultrastructural properties of mesophyll and bundle sheath chloroplasts of the maize plant (Zea mays L.) under normal and salt stress conditions” was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of ANAS, at the Scientific Seminar on the specialty 2406.02- "Biochemistry", operating under the Dissertation Council ED 1.25. The scientific supervisor of the work is Doctor of Biological Sciences, professor Saftar Suleymanov.  The applicant presented the relevance, purpose, main provisions, and results of the dissertation, and the topic was discussed. Council members expressed their comments and suggestions. Based on the results of the secret ballot, the Scientific Seminar decided to allow Nahida Aliyeva's dissertation to be defended.
