The article “Isolation and characterization of DREB gene in ancestral diploid wheat species from wheat domestication center”co-authored by Director General of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies, ANAS academician Irada Huseynova, ", PhD in biology Samira Rustamova and Gulnar Abdullayeva was published in "Genetics and Molecular Research" journal (IF=1.77). Since Azerbaijan is the center of origin of bread wheat, the article is devoted to local wild diploid wheat, which is the genome donor of modern wheat. The gene was isolated from wild wheat, sequenced and in silico analysis was performed. The results of the sequence analysis have been entered into the NCBI international database and deposited under accession numbers MZ935739 and MZ935740.
