Seven years have passed since the death of academician Jalal Aliyev, a great scientist and social and political figure, who had unparalleled services in creating modern directions of biological science in Azerbaijan. The students of Jalal Aliyev, as well general director of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of the RA MSE, academician Irada Huseynova, like every year, visited the Alley of Honor to commemorate the dear memory of their teacher. In addition to the employees of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies founded by Academician Jalal Aliyev, the employees of the Institute of Botany, the Central Botanical Garden, Azerbaijan Research Institute of Crop Husbandry

of the Ministry of Agriculture also visited the grave of Jalal Aliyev and laid wreaths and flowers on his grave. Academician Irada Huseynova, who shared her memories about her teacher, spoke about the life path of the scientist, his scientific creativity, and his contributions to Azerbaijan and the world science, and pointed out that thanks to the activities of Jalal Aliyev, the modern directions of biology developed in Azerbaijan.
