Employees of the Institute of Cytology and Genetics of Siberian Branch of the Federal Research Center (Novosibirsk, Russia) Professor Elena Khlestkina and Svetlana Zubova visited the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of ANAS. A seminar was held at the institute with the participation of russian guests. Professor E. Khlestkina gave a presentation on "Genetics, biotechnology and bioinformatics of plants". The scientist noted that the main direction of the research of their institute was the genetics of humans, animals and plants, and serious attention was paid to the personnel training. S. Zubova spoke on the theme "Additional profile education in the field of natural sciences". She talked about the work carried out to enhance the world outlook of schoolchildren and their interest in science.
