On May 12, a scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies with the participation of Professor Francesco Paolocci of the Institute of Biosciences and Bioresources of the Italian National Research Council. General director of the institute, vice president of ANAS academician Irada Huseynova welcomed the guest and emphasized the importance of holding such events for future cooperation. He noted that genetic control of proanthocyanidin biosynthesis is currently being studied in legumes used as animal feed. The dependence of biosynthesis of flavonoids on genes and environment in A. filiculoides plant is studied. The Italian scientist answered many questions asked by IMBB employees.
