Zarintaj Rustamova, a junior researcher at Population Genomics Laboratory of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies was on an archaeological expedition in the area called Beshbarmag in the Siyazan region under the leadership of Ph.D. Safar Ashurov on July 17-19. During the expedition organized to uncover the castle walls and 4 constellations on Beshbarmag mountain, pottery belonging to the first bronze age and the Middle Ages, the remains of deer and other animal bones unusual for that area, as well as various ornaments and weapons were discovered and taken.
