An educational seminar on the directions of the programs and open calls presented within the framework of the "Horizon Europe" program was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies. Esmira Alirzayeva, head of the Department of International Relations of the Presidium of ANAS, Ph.D. in biology, associate professor Esmira Alirzayeva invited our scientists to closely participate in prestigious projects such as the "Horizon Europe" program, which creates opportunities for the scientific potential of our country to be known in the world. She provided detailed information about funding opportunities, building relationships with partners, participation in events and conferences, applying for scientific research grant projects, available opportunities, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), COST and Medical staff programs, expectations from participants, opportunities presented for Azerbaijan. Mammad Hashimov, a leading researcher of the Institute of Information Technologies, Ph.D. in technology spoke about the work program of the "Horizon Europe" program for 2023-2027, defining challenges, the procedure for writing project proposals, and evaluation criteria. In conclusion, the experts answered numerous questions from the Institute staff.
