On November 6, the next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of MSE RA. The general director of the Institute academician Irada Huseynova opened the meeting and informed the council members about the issues on the agenda.

First, the dissertation topics of the PhD students entering the doctoral and dissertation studies in the 2023 academic year were discussed and the issue of appointing their scientific supervisors was considered. Then the annual reports of the laboratories of the Photochemistry of chloroplasts, Cell membrane systems and Photobioenergetics were heard. Head of the laboratories - corresponding member of ANAS Ibrahim Azizov, doctors of biological sciences Safter Suleymanov and Yashar Feyziyev gave detailed information to the members of the council about the scientific research conducted in the current year, the obtained results, published scientific works, participation in local and international events and staff training. At the meeting, the Chairman of the Veterans' Council, corresponding member of ANAS, Ibrahim Azizov, spoke about the activities of the council in 2023.

Then discussions were held around the reports, suggestions were made and the reports were accepted considering the activities of the laboratories as satisfactory.
