A scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies on 5 March 2019. Junior researcher of the institute, Nargiz Bayramova gave a report on “Modern virology; Plant viruses like dangerous phytopathogens”. N.Bayramova spoke about the development history of virology, Nobel Prizes in virology, mechanisms of plant-pathogenic relationships and plant anti-virus mechanisms. She also gave information about phytopathogen viruses on phytopathogenic viruses on a grape sample, their spreading areals, etc. Then the reporter answered the arising questions.
