On February 23, the scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of MSE RA. At the seminar, Doctor of Philosophy in Neurobiology Amina Javadova spoke on the topic "Cellular modulation of neuronal input-output function". Our compatriot, who is a graduate of Baku State University, completed her PhD work at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, Germany. The speaker provided extensive information on the physiological and chemical regulation of nerve activity in the nervous system, the effect of neuromodulation on the adaptation of neural circuits, excitatory postsynaptic potential and inhibition, presynaptic and postsynaptic mechanisms of short-term plasticity. Discussions were held around the seminar. A. Javadova answered the questions of the seminar participants in detail.
