In the field of biology, theoretical and applied research is carried out in a wide range of fields, from the health sector to the environmental and agricultural sectors. Vaccines developed against various diseases continue to save lives. Currently, new fields such as Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Nanobiotechnology, Genome projects, Environment and biodiversity protection, and Bioinformatics, which are increasingly important, are based more on biology. These studies make a fundamental contribution to the socio-economic development of the society.
