The chief of the laboratory of Photochemistry of chloroplasts, correspondent member of ANAS Ibrahim Azizov participated in the international conference on "Genomics and Biochemistry of Agricultural Plants" at the Institute of Selection and Genetics in Odessa, Ukraine during 11-12th of September. The conference was attended by prominent scientists from Belarus, Ukraine, Egypt and Poland. Prof. Azizov gave a presentation entitled "The effects of various concentrations of sodium chloride on morphological and photochemical properties of wheat seedlings" at the plenary session. Ibrahim Azizov's speech was welcomed with interest by the listeners. A wide-ranging exchange of views took place on the report.
