The General Meeting of the Department of Biology and Medical Sciences (DBMS) was held at the Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences on 20 November. Academic-secretary of the department, academic Ahliman Amiraslanov, department and bureau members, heads of scientific institutions of DBMS and other guests participated in the event. Firstly, deputy of secretary, correspondent member of ANAS Zeynal Akbarov congratulated academic Ahliman Amiraslanov on behalf of members of departments and collectives of the İnstitutes on the 70th anniversary and awarding him the “Order of Glory” by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev . Then, academic Ahliman Amiraslanov introduced the agenda of the meeting. The head of the department declared that the correspondent member of ANAS Ibrahim Azizov was awarded the Certificate of Honor of ANAS by the decision of the Presidium of ANAS.
