At today's ANAS Presidium meeting the issue of the “Plan of measures to implement the resolution of the General Meeting of ANAS dated May 1, 2019” was considered.

It was noted that, at ANAS General Meeting, which was held on May 2019, to the Presidium was given instructions to be undertaken at the Academy for 2019. With the participation of members of the ANAS Presidium, leading structural subdivisions of the apparatus and scientific departments of ANAS, relevant proposals and an Action Plan were prepared and submitted to the Presidium for the implementation of these instructions.

After discussing the issue, the Action Plan was approved. The document reflected the instructions aimed at the implementation of the necessary scientific, scientific, organizational and other measures for the implementation of the work envisaged.

Action Plan included such issues as planning integrated studies aimed at solving multidisciplinary scientific problems of the Caspian Sea, expanding research on crystallography in the field of biology and medicine, as well as research in such areas as demographic processes in Azerbaijan, bioarchaeological reconstructions, human morphology, paleopathology, paleogenomics, computed tomography, 3D geometry and paleo-DNA.

In addition, the document reflects such tasks as the implementation of relevant activities to study various aspects of interethnic relations and mutual influence in Azerbaijan, the formation of the modern foundations of the international relations system, the integration of the doctoral level in ANAS into the European education system, the creation of information resources of the electronic state, the development of supramolecular chemistry in Azerbaijan, computer modeling of artificial intelligence systems, etc.
