A statement on special scholarships was made by the president of ANAS, academician Akif Alizade at the event dedicated to the Day of Knowledge.

In his speech, the scientist spoke about the annual competition "Master" to boost the achievements of students in the field of education and science. He said that starting this year, students who have distinguished themselves in education and their effective work, will be given special scholarships from the President of ANAS.

According to the academician, this step is aimed not only at increasing students' interest in science and education but also at increasing their social status.

Akif Alizadeh also noted that ANAS mobilizes opportunities for improving the social conditions of students: “This means that undergraduates of the Academy are our students, employees, and residents.” The scientist said that this trend will continue in the future, and the next step will be the announcement of a “student grant” to support innovative topics of dissertations.
