Head of the laboratory of the photochemistry of chloroplasts of IMBB, correspondent member of ANAS, professor Ibrahim Azizov was on a scientific trip in Kiev, Ukraine. The purpose of the visit was to participate in the 14^th International Scientific Conference on “Experimental evolution factors of organisms”. Note that, I.Azizov was invited by Organizing Committee of the Conference and 7^th Congress of the All-Ukraine Association of Plant Biologists to deliver a plenary report. Scientists and specialists from many countries, including Azerbaijan, Poland, England, Belarus, and Ukraine participated in the conference organized by the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Institute of Food Biotechnology and Genomics of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences Scientists, Vavilov Society of Geneticists and Breeders of Ukraine. I. Azizov gave a plenary report on “Influence of nanostructures of biogenic metal oxides on seed germination ability on wheat germination, the number of photosynthetic pigments, the activity of FS2 and superoxide dismutase enzyme”. The Azerbaijani scientist also co-chaired one of the plenary sessions. I. Azizov was awarded a diploma for his active participation in the activities of the Society of Genetics and Breeders of Ukraine and his regular participation in conferences.
