On February 1,two years pass since  the death of the world-famous scientist, social and political figure, prominent representative of biology and agrarian science in our country, academic Jalal Aliyev.  In this regard, the staff of the institute visited the academic’s grave in the Alley of Honor. Then, a memorial event was held at the institute. Firstly, Jalal Aliyev’s student, director of the institute, academic Irada Huseynova shared her memories about her teacher. She emphasized that first of all  the world-famous scientist was known  for his sincerity and patriotism. At the event, the documentary "Eternal Light"  about the life and work of the scientist was demonstrated. His death is a great loss for the Azerbaijani science.  Rest in peace! The memory of the scientist will always live in the heart of the Azerbaijani people.
