On November 5, a report of the scientific and scientific-organizational activity of Central Botanical Garden for 2019 was listened. The event was attended by academic secretary of the Division of Biological and Medical Sciences, academician Ahliman Amiraslanov, director of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies, academician Irada Huseynova, director of Institute of Botany, academician Valida Alizade, director of the Institute of Genetic Resources, Correspondent member of ANAS Zeynal Akparov, members of Scientific Council and employees of Central Botanical Garden. Before the event, the guests got acquainted with the reconstruction and design work at the CBG's greenhouse, as well as the newly commissioned Visitor Center.

Later, at the report meeting, Director of the Central Botanical Garden, Doctor of Biological Sciences Vahid Farzaliyev made a report on the CBG's scientific and organizational activity in 2019. He said that this year's activities were based on the Decrees and Orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, decisions, and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic, state programs, decisions of the Presidium of ANAS.

Summing up the discussion, academician Ahliman Amiraslanov positively evaluated the recent research activities at the CBG and gave instructions for their intensification.
