On November 19, 2019, the adviser of the COMSTECH, Dr. Khurshid Hasanain was a guest at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies. Note that, the second advisory seminar on the preparation of the international project "The role of genetic resources in the creation of new varieties and the integration of the seeding system" started in Baku on November 18. The event was attended by more than 30 leaders and specialists in plant genetic resources and seed production from Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Oman, and Jordan, as well as representatives of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), JICA agency of Japan, the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. As part of the workshop, Dr. Khurshid Hasanain familiarized himself with the research and laboratory equipment provided at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. In the end, the prospects for cooperation within the project were discussed.
