On February 23, a scientific seminar was held at the institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies. A junior researcher of the Laboratory of Photochemistry of Chloroplasts, Konul Tagieva spoke on the topic of "Ways of increasing photosynthesis efficiency".

The reporter noted that although photosynthesis was discovered more than 250 years ago, the study of photosynthesis still remains relevant.

At present, when demand for food products on our planet is increasing, a great scientific potential is required to study and find ways to improve photosynthesis and increase productivity.
