Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis is a symbol of the unity slogan of Azerbaijani people. This holiday plays an important role in building relationships more than 50 million Azerbaijanis living in more than 70 countries around the world, making unity and solidarity between them. Celebration of Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis has already become a necessity and a spiritual need by all Azerbaijanis of the world. Solidarity Day has become the most important holiday for the Azerbaijani Diaspora. Today even the representatives of the diaspora who are not Azerbaijanis but born and live in Azerbaijan celebrate Solidarity Day. The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, national leader Heydar Aliyev declared December 31 the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day, taking into account the importance of creating the unity of the world Azerbaijanis.
The Day of Solidarity, which has become a national holiday of Azerbaijanis all over the world, is celebrated annually by nearly 50 million people.
