The first vice-president of the Azerbaijan, National Academy of Sciences academician Isa Habibbayli, is a versatile person. He is an outstanding literary scholar, for a long time he led the Nakhchivan State University, in 2013 he headed the Institute of Literature of ANAS after Nizami Ganjavi. Being a deputy of the Milli Majlis, he actively participates in the socio-political life of the republic.
