Nanocellulose capable of stopping coronavirus created Apr 20, 2020 | 14:39 / Interesting information

Queensland University of Australia's Australian engineers joined in the fight against coronavirus and created nanocellulose, which they claim is ideal for the manufacture of protective masks and filters.

According to the developers, their material, in comparison with the material of conventional, including surgical masks, has at least two advantages: it retains particles smaller than 100 nanometers, that is, it is quite effective against coronavirus, but it does not make breathing difficult, which is especially true for people with respiratory diseases.
