A team of researchers from Oxford University, who developed the coronavirus vaccine, will begin testing the drug on volunteers this week. This was announced at a press conference in London on Tuesday by the head of the Ministry of Health of the United Kingdom, Matt Hancock.

"I can announce that the vaccine developed under the Oxford project will be tested in humans starting this Thursday. Under normal conditions, it would take years to reach this stage. I am proud of the work done to date," the minister said.
