Main scientific achievements

For the first time, the microbiota of oil-contaminated soils of Azerbaijan was analyzed for antimicrobial activity. AZ-130 strain with strong and stable activity against such dangerous Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogens as Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis and Acinetobacter baumanniiwas was isolated. The strong and stable activity of the AZ-130 antibacterial biomolecule was confirmed by the method of determination of MIC (minimum inhibitory concentration) values.
