| Main activity directions: | Problems of creation of artificial photosynthesis system using artificial photosensitizers, catalysts, and composites, which is a new direction in bionanotechnology for obtaining molecular hydrogen as an alternative energy source and based on natural photosynthesis. |
| Main scientific achievements: | We have a big successful experience in the investigation of possible ways for design; engineering and construction of semi artificial and artificial photoconverting systems mimicking photosynthesis. The light-induced hydrogen production from splitting of water molecules by (TiO2) with a nanostructure morphology was investigated. A variety of nanoscale multilayer complexes based on manganese oxide were designed, synthesized, and studied. |
